Check Out How a Kitchen Paint Project Transforms This Set

Whether you’re a TV lover or not, you’ve no doubt heard about this year’s breakout hit—The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. This new Amazon Prime comedy is all the rage, especially after it won 13 awards at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards show. Set in 1950’s Manhattan, it follows homemaker Midge Masiel as she tries to forge a career in stand-up comedy.

So why are we talking about it? Well, we can’t take credit for any of those Emmy wins, but we can take credit for helping to recreate the retro look of the kitchen that appears in the show. The entire kitchen is white and cherry red with exposed brick—an ideal representation of the kitchens of that era.

The set designers contacted us because they specifically wanted us to paint the stove top and the sink. We used our custom color matching service to create the exact colors the set designers wanted for this kitchen paint project. Then, we applied the kitchen paint using our electrostatic spray painting process to ensure a high-quality finish.

Color schemes of set in movies and TV shows are important, so set designers want to make sure they get it right. That’s why we’re such a great option. Whether it’s modern set, retro sets, or even futuristic sets, we can custom match any color you bring to us.

Of course, you don’t have to be a part of an Emmy Award winning TV show to have us create a custom color for you. We give all of our residential and commercial clients the red carpet treatment, whether we’re painting a table, a kitchen, a storefront, or a high school gymnasium.
