Spray Paint: A Quick Remodel for Television Sets

At Spray Finishes, we’re proud of the work we do for all of our clients. However, we never imagined that our work would be featured on national television. But as it turns out, we recently got a fantastic opportunity to help a great cause by spray painting for television sets in New York City.

It all began when we were contacted by SilverLining, Inc., a general contracting and construction management company specializing in high-end and luxury residences. They asked if we would be interested in donating our services to help renovate an activity room and an art room located in the AHRC Fisher Day Center. This organization offers a wide variety of services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live self-determined and meaningful lives.

We’ve partnered with SilverLining on several successful projects in the past, and it was such a great cause we jumped at the chance to be involved. The cherry on top of the sundae was the fact that the renovation was filmed to be part of a popular segment on a New York-based news show. The segment focuses on updating, renovating, and transforming the homes of deserving people.

Setting up the set

Time was a big factor in this project since we were spray painting for television. We were able to use our electrostatic spray painting process to paint the ceiling of the room and it dried within hours, not days.

The staff and members of the AHRC Fisher Day Center were thrilled with the results and appreciative of everyone’s work. For us, it was a fun and rewarding experience to be able to give something back to a wonderful organization and showcase our spray painting process on television.
