Transform Your Retail Storefront with Spray Paint
We recently had the opportunity to repaint a retail storefront for luxury fashion company, Coach, as part of their overall national rebranding effort. This retail location was inside of a mall, which always presents some unique challenges for us.
For this particular commercial job, we painted the metal frames around the windows and entrance black. Black was an excellent choice for this brand because it looks high-end, it never goes out of style, and it’s easy to maintain. Of course, our color-matching service offers our clients almost endless color choices.
We started by masking off the glass and surrounding areas in case there was any overspray. Then, we applied paint using our electrostatic spray painting process to ensure flawless results.
We worked at night after the mall had closed as not to disrupt normal business operations. We can always work around any restrictions such as space limits, ongoing construction, or time constraints. The painting process is very much the same as it is for the outside retail storefront. We masked off windows and used electrostatic spray painting to finish the job in a single session. We always try to complete jobs within a day or two, but it depends on the size of the job.
We also handle exterior-facing storefronts for retailers outside of the mall. The temperatures, however, need to be consistently above 50 degrees day and night for us to start the job. Other than that, it’s a very similar process to interior jobs. We mask the areas that need to be protected and can finish the job in a day in most cases.
